MURRIETA: RCTC project would close I-215 interchange gap
Sanchez, shortstop Stephanie Moreno, Lacey Alderman and catcher Amber Nelson were the only Nighthawks that entered the game with CIF experience. The neophytes werent overwhelmed by the challenge, either. Autumn and Amber Bishop, freshmen twin sisters, batted a combined 5-for-6 with four runs scored. While Murrieta Attorney Valleys lineup is loaded with future Division I talent such as Moreno (Valparaiso) and Alderman (Long Beach State), it was No. 8 hitter Nicole Sims that swung the loudest stick against Upland. Sims went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and a stolen base. Sims three-run home run in the fifth inning broke open a close game in which the Nighthawks led 3-1 at the time. Sims, a sophomore playing her first CIF game, confided with older brothers and former Vista Murrieta baseball players Ronnie and Bruce about handling the pressure that a postseason game brings.

Murrieta Attorney Mesa pair triumph to titles at league finals
The first-place distance fell just two inches short of her personal record. I was not expecting a league champion patch, Singleton said. The triple jump, I was worried about and I came through, Singleton added later. I had a bad day in the long jump so I was worried about the triple. I was heavy on my feet but then the triple came out good. Im happy. Although the Rams ladies finished third (87) behind juggernauts Vista Murrieta (180) and Great Oak (136), Murrieta Attorney Mesa coach Aaron Ballou is looking forward to the CIF Southern Section Division II preliminaries on May 11 in Moorpark. Amanda Van Buren (100 and 200), Porter Reddish (1,600 and 3,200) and Peter Manu (110 hurdles and 300 hurdles) were multiple-event winners for Vista Murrieta Attorney.

And I think we owe it to the folks that live here in Murrieta Attorney and north not to impede them as they move from their workplace in San Diego to home. As far as local traffic, entrances would be from Murrieta Hot Springs at Monroe and Hancock avenues. There would be another entrance constructed from Murrieta Attorney Hot Springs, between Monroe and Hancock, along with an internal roadway that winds through the site. City staff said freeway traffic was ultimately under the jurisdiction of Caltrans, which is why the city entered a clause within the EIR stating overriding considerations located within the area bounded by Interstates 15 and 215 and south of Murrieta Attorney Hot Springs Road. The actual movement on the freeway is Caltrans responsibility, we cant make Caltrans do anything, said Interim City Engineer Bob Moehling. Our Council has been great as far as getting our interchanges completed. Moehling noted the city has had a positive track record when working with Caltrans in recent years on interchange projects. In other concerns brought up by staff, they recommended against electronic billboards, drive-throughs, gas stations and warehouse retail stores proposed by the developer. That sort of detracts from what we are trying to create here, said Commissioner Ruthanne Taylor-Berger, about warehouse retail stores. Commissioner Steven DeGrave was not enthused about the prospect of fast food drive-throughs at The Triangle. I ran a national a fast food restaurant in one of my careers, DeGrave said.

The Triangle: Murrieta Commissioners Get Glimpse of Renewed Vision
But if you open it up all at once, it's going to be a breath of fresh air for the traveling public in that area, said Jason Bennecke, project manager for Caltrans in San Bernardino, in a telephone interview on Wednesday. Caltrans is spearheading the project. More than 45,000 vehicles daily travel across the southbound bridge, Caltrans officials say. For now, Bennecke said, plans call for adding the third lane on the inside, or left side, of the bridge. Rolling south across the envisioned three-lane bridge, drivers on the left would have to merge onto I-15 while those on the right would have to exit at French Valley or Winchester. Bennecke said motorists in the middle could go either direction. John Standiford, deputy executive director for the transportation commission, said estimates peg the construction cost at $7 million to $10 million.
